About the Wyoming Primary Care Association

The Wyoming Primary Care Association (WYPCA) focuses on the following goal areas:

Advocacy – WYPCA will advocate for and work with Wyoming Health Centers to communicate our position on a variety of health policy issues through legislator education, bill tracking, sharing model legislation, and capacity building.

Community Development – Strengthen, increase, and expand access to affordable, quality health care to all populations throughout Wyoming.

Resource Development – Enhance funding and personnel resources for the WYPCA, members, and partners through improved data collection and reporting, capacity building, and systems development.

Training and Development – Coordinate and deliver meaningful training and development programs that encompass core Health Center topics of interest, along with member-specific needs. Establish, strengthen, and maintain strong communication efforts between the Association, its members, and partners to ensure positive health outcomes for Wyoming’s underserved.

Marketing and Communication – Increase visibility and understanding of WYPCA and Health Centers for the purpose of promoting and furthering our mission.

Since 1996, the Wyoming Primary Care Association (WYPCA) has been working with communities throughout Wyoming to expand the availability of quality, affordable health care services to individuals and families. At the WYPCA, we provide technical assistance and support to existing health centers while working with communities to expand services.

The Wyoming Primary Care Association’s mission is to support, develop, strengthen, promote, and expand access to quality health services in communities throughout the state of Wyoming.

The Wyoming Primary Care Association will become the most recognized resource in Wyoming for improving access to affordable, quality health care.
