Medical Treatment Alternatives for Depression Available in Wyoming
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Ketamine Therapy

This virtual presentation, sponsored by the Wyoming Behavioral Institute, will review medical treatment alternatives available to Wyoming citizens with treatment-resistant depression: TMS, ECT, and Ketamine.

Topics include:

  • Indications for recommending an alternative therapy for treatment-resistant major depression

  • Access (cost, insurance coverage) of treatment alternatives available in Wyoming

  • Administration of alternative therapies

  • Alternative therapy outcomes

    • Reporting clinical services and quality of care indicators

    • Operational and financial tables

    • Other required UDS reporting forms

  • Learn about the new requirements included in 2024 reporting

  • Learn tips for success including strategies for submission

  • Receive valuable resources that provide further reporting guidance

HRSA grant programs designed to address health care-related challenges and opportunities at the local or regional levels within a state, including HRSA grant programs for which funding opportunities, are forecast to be released within the next 4 months. Community-based organizations such as clinics, health centers, and hospitals as well as organizations that support community-based organizations are eligible to apply.

Grant programs focused on the following topics and populations will be covered:

  • Rural health

  • Primary care

  • Health workforce

  • Maternal health

The following will be provided for each grant program:

  • Purpose of the grant program

  • Amount of funding and duration of grant program

  • Approximate dates when funding opportunities will be released

  • Core elements and key requirements in the grant application

  • Eligibility

HRSA UDS+ Informational Session

Please join HRSA and the UDS+ team for the Region 8 Fall UDS patient-level submission (UDS+) Information Session on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 3 - 4 p.m. Eastern Time. The purpose of this meeting is to review the CY2024 UDS+ submission (due April 30, 2025), available resources, common questions and next steps. Health centers, PCAs, HCCNs, and HRSA regional representatives are invited to this meeting.

 A Zoom link is provided below, and registration is required. The Zoom link is the same for all Regions (except Region 4). Please select your region in the registration form and provide any questions you have about the CY2024 UDS+ submission or your specific submission questions. We will not be able to answer every question during the meeting but will follow-up with you as needed.
