This two hour training focuses on creating affirming and supportive spaces for LGBTQIA+ people in healthcare. The training includes information on basic terminology, perceptions of healthcare from LGBTQIA+ people, and the importance of place and rurality for LGBTQIA+ people in Wyoming. The training is meant to be interactive and reflective, though participants are encouraged to share and engage to their comfort level.
