Introduction to Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM)
CALM is a practical intervention that equips providers with the tools to increase the time and distance between individuals at risk of suicide and the most common lethal methods of suicide, particularly firearms. This session will address why means matter, provide an introduction to CALM clinical skills, and allow for practical application through case discussions.
